In order to accurately configure the QoS on the router you need to run a Speedtest via http://www.speedtest.net to find out your maximum upload and download speed. Once you know your upload and download speed you will be able to configure the QoS.

  1. Login to your Draytek administration interface by browsing to the gateway IP on your network.  In most cases the IP address will be 192.168.1.1
  2. Select Bandwidth Management, then Quality of Service.
  3. On the Quality of Service screen select Setup on the WAN1 line (assuming WAN1 is your WAN port on the router)
  4. On the setup screen set the following:
    • Enable the QoS Control - BOTH
    • WAN Inbound Bandwidth - Your download speed from the speedtest.net website
    • WAN Outbound Bandwidth - Your download speed from the speedtest.net website
    • Class 1 Reserved_bandwidth Ratio - 25%
    • Class 2 Reserved_bandwidth Ratio - 1%
    • Class 3 Reserved_bandwidth Ratio - 1%
  5. Click OK to save
  6. Click Edit on the Class 1 rule then select Add, on this screen complete enter the following
    1. ACT - Checked
    2. Ethernet Type - IPv4
    3. Remote Address - Click Edit
      1. Address Type - Subnet Address
      2. Start IP Address - 180.235.111.64
      3. Subnet Mask - 255.255.255.224
      4. Click OK
    4. Set Service Type to Any
    5. Click OK
  7. Click Edit on the Class 1 rule then select Add, on this screen complete enter the following
  8. ACT - Checked
  9. Ethernet Type - IPv4
  10. Remote Address - Click Edit
    1. Address Type - Single Address
    2. Start IP Address - 101.0.73.138
    3. Click OK
  11. Set Service Type to Any
  12. Click OK
  13. In the Name box at the top enter Voice, your screen should now look like this
  14. Click OK
QoS should now be enabled, you can click Status link on the WAN1 entry in the table to see if its working.  You should see something similar to this
