What is Direct Routing for Microsoft Teams?

Direct Routing provides a connection between your Cloud Hosted PBX and your Microsoft Teams users so that they can make and receive external phone calls from within Teams.

By implementing Microsoft Teams Direct Routing with your Cloud Hosted PBX you are able to route calls to your agents no matter which end-point device they use.

You can mix and match to best meet your agent’s needs. Some agents may use a traditional desktop or cordless IP handset, while others might use our Softphone client on their Windows PC, Apple PC, Android Phone or iPhone and others might use the calling feature directly in Microsoft Teams.

Calls can be routed to agents no matter the mix of physical handset, softphone or Teams.
