Setting up Voicemail Greetings

If your extension has voicemail configured you can customize the greeting your callers hear if they were transferred to your voicemail.

Accessing the Voicemail System Internally:

1. There are two ways to access voicemail, you can use one of the following methods:
   
   1. Dial *101
   2. Dial *98
2. If you used *98 to access the voicemail system you would need to enter the extension of the account you are trying to manage followed by # e.g. 1001#
3. Enter your password followed by #. This will be a 4 digit PIN e.g. 1234#
4. Press 5 to access advanced options
5. Press 1 to record a greeting
6. Select a greeting between 1 and 9, typically you say 1, but you can record multiple greetings so that you can switch between them at a later date
7. Now record your greeting and push # to stop the recording
8. Press 1 to listen or Press 2 to save the greeting
9. If you have multiple greetings you will now need to select the greeting, press 2 and then press the number for the greeting number to select it.

Accessing the Voicemail System Externally:

If you are out on the road and wish to access your voicemail and change your greeting you can do so by doing the following:

1. Dial your external phone number and let it get answered by the voicemail system
2. When you hear the voicemail greeting push *
3. Next enter your Internal extension number e.g. 1001#
4. Enter your password followed by #. This will be a 4 digit PIN e.g. 1234#
5. Press 5 to access advanced options
6. Press 1 to record a greeting
7. Select a greeting between 1 and 9, typically you say 1, but you can record multiple greetings so that you can switch between them at a later date
8. Now record your greeting and push # to stop the recording
9. Press 1 to listen or Press 2 to save the greeting
10. If you have multiple greetings you will now need to select the greeting, press 2 and then press the number for the greeting number to select it.
