The following guide will describe how to upload and install a Mikrotik .RSC router config file.

Process

Cable device to Mikrotik router
Download Winbox from Mikrotik: https://mikrotik.com/download
Log in to Mikrotik router using Winbox – Default credentials are username: admin/password: (blank)

Click on Files on the left hand menu to open the File List window.
Click the Upload button and navigate to the .RSC router config file stored on your device.

Click on New Terminal on the left hand menu.
Enter the following command to perform a software reset of the router:

/system reset-configuration no-defaults=yes

Reconnect to the Mikrotik after it has finished resetting.
Click on New Terminal on the left hand menu.
Enter the following command to import the .RSC router config file:

/import file-name=(router config filename.RSC)

The Mikrotik config will be installed to the router and the router will then reboot.
